Contrasting Movement

This piece was made during a time of conflict. I decided to bring both my love for Acrylic and my love for Nature into this one piece. I created a series of koi fish swimming with lily pads. The lily pads are made from sea glass. For the koi fish, I made every fish with the same number of spots have contrasting colors. I also included the rainbow for my own love of colors and bright feelings. The background water was painted with long, fast strokes to convey my freedom and flow through life. The painting has many different feelings I put into it, but I want it to go to a home that can feel something when viewing this art.
